Our Pastor
Rev. Glenn E. Taylor, Sr. is the founder and senior pastor of Greater Light Christian Center in Reno, Nevada. Greater Light Christian Center was established as a local ministry on June 2, 1989. Rev. Taylor is a faithful minister of the Word and dedicated to building up the body of Christ.
During his career of 29 years with the State of Nevada and the City of Reno, Rev. Taylor was known as "a Daniel in the Kings Palace." Rev. Taylor has served several Nevada Governors and Reno City Managers. His Labor and Industrial Relations background consisted of working in such capacities as Labor and Industrial Relations Manager for the Nevada Labor Commission, Assistant Director of the Nevada Equal Rights Commission, and the Affirmative Action Officer/Training and Development Manager for the City of Reno.
Rev. Taylor is a member of the Reno Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and the Chief Executive Officer of the AIDS Community Cultural Education Program and Training (A.C.C.E.P.T), a Community Based Organization of Nevada and California.
A much sought after preacher and community speaker, Rev. Taylor is known nationally and internationally for both his musical talents and prophetic word. Rev. Taylor and his wife, Co-Pastor Gwen Taylor are proven leaders who are committed to serving and helping others through their gifts and ministry.
