Pastor Vincent Stewart

A native of Los Angeles, California, Assistant Pastor Vincent Stewart has been in the ministry for more than 20 years. He was licensed as a minister in 1988 at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Reno, NV, and ordained in 1995 at Greater Light Christian Center (GLCC) also in Reno. He has been under the leadership of Reverend Glenn E. Taylor, Sr. since 1984 where he has grown in the Word, wisdom, and leadership.
Pastor Doris Freeman-Broadnax
Outreach, Choir, Intercessory Prayer, Benevolence & Witnessing Ministry
Assistant Pastor Doris Freeman-Broadnax is a native of Herlong, CA; she accepted and began her ministerial calling in 2002. Doris serves as Choir Coordinator, Care/Witness team facilitator and serves on the Finance Team at Greater Light Christian Center. She started It’s Such a Blessing a non-medical in-home services caring for seniors and Disabled people. Doris also is a volunteer at the Crisis Pregnancy Center. She is married to Minister Greg Broadnax, a mother and a grandmother.
Pastor Angie Taylor
Bookkeeper, Audio/Visual, Training & Development
The Reverend Dr. Angie Taylor currently serves as the Administrative Pastor at Greater Light Christian Center in Reno, Nevada where Rev. Glenn E. Taylor, Sr. is the Senior Pastor. In this capacity, she is responsible for the leadership team, administrative and leadership training, special projects, and church organization. She also has oversight of several ministries and in effect, serves as the chief operating officer, on behalf of the senior pastor.
Dr. Taylor has a long history of excellent leadership, people development and community service. She is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Guardian Quest, Inc., an organization specializing in providing diversity/inclusion, leadership and organizational development training and consulting solutions for educational, governmental and corporate clients across North America.
Dr. Angie has an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, all from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her background is in higher education where she completed a storied 20-year career at the University of Nevada. While there, she served in senior level leadership positions for over 17 years.
Regardless of her role, she is committed to adding value and making a difference. She is passionate about a few things, and has intentionally positioned herself to work within those areas. Education, leadership, diversity/inclusion, and faith are the areas that she loves and those that have driven her success.
Her greatest passion, however, is her service for the Lord. She is an ordained minister, a dynamic orator, and a highly skilled administrator. Above all, she is saved, Spirit-filled and gives all the glory for her success to the Lord. She is an avid worshipper and a powerful motivator. She is a woman of destiny called of God for the task of making people and organizations better.
Pastor Henry Owens

Pastor Henry Owens currently serves as founder and senior pastor of Word and Spirit Christian Center Church in Scottsdale, Az. Prior to moving to Scottsdale, he was a dedicated ministry leader at Greater Light Christian Center (GLCC) in Reno, Nv for almost 25 years. While at GLCC, Pastor Henry served as assistant pastor, providing oversight and pastoral care to several ministries including Christian Education, Youth Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Couples Ministry, Jail Ministry, Evangelism and Ministerial Training and Development; all while serving as the Director of Christian Education. While directing and developing the Christian Education Ministry, since 1996, Henry trained numerous teachers and students at GLCC and within the community.
First licensed in ministry at the young age of twelve, Pastor Henry has been preaching the gospel for over 32 years. During this time, he served in four different ministries, receiving ordination and licensure in three different organizations. As a child prodigy, he traveled an evangelized across Southern California and received his first ordination from Heavenly Vision Church of God in Christ. He subsequently served in ministry for a short time at St. Temple Holiness Church before receiving additional ordination through Victory Temple Holiness Church and Greater Light Christian Center.
Although trained and experienced in various areas of ministry, his passion is studying and teaching the Word of God. His love for the Word led him to write two study guides on the subject of eschatology. And, in 2013, it led him to found Word & Spirit Christian Academy, an online bible school for ministerial training.
In addition to ministry, Henry has also spent many successful years in the corporate arena. Most recently, he leveraged his entrepreneurial skills and launched a trucking company in partnership with Family VBankston Trucking LLC. And in 2013, he penned his first movie script, “Behold, I Come Quickly.”
Henry has been married to Latrice Owens for 25 years. They have two daughters and three beautiful granddaughters.
